Lifetime Saber Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our products. All non-discontinued sabers include a lifetime warranty covering defects and malfunctions under normal use, including the core electronics and blade.
Covered Under Warranty
- Damage on Arrival (DOA) — must be reported upon receipt
- Verified soundboard failure (after troubleshooting)
- Manufacturing defects outside normal standards
Not Covered Under Warranty
- Dueling or impact damage (including stress on skinny-neck designs)
- Improper or forceful disassembly
- Incorrect or high-output chargers
- Unauthorized modifications (soundfonts, blade styles, flashing)
- Misuse, abuse, or improper operation
- Resale or secondary market purchases
- Retention screw damage from over-tightening
Important
Unauthorized repairs may void the warranty.
Submit a support ticket for assistance (48-hour response time)
Polarity: Align + and - symbols correctly to prevent damage.
Charging: Use a 5V 1A adapter only. Charge for 3-4 hours max; do not charge overnight.
Warranty: Damage from dueling is not covered.
Blade Use: Insert the blade before powering on. Avoid twisting to prevent damage.
Core Installation: Do not twist the core when inserting to avoid pin damage.
Hilt Handling: Do not unscrew the hilt from the middle section.
Customization: Modifications that alter files or damage the board void the warranty and are non-refundable
What “Empty – No Electronics” Means?
- Blade: Not included. You’ll need to source or make your own blade.
- Electronics: No wiring, LEDs, or soundboards—empty chassis only.
- Sound Fonts: Even if “Mark 1 - Free” appears in sound-font dropdowns, no sound-font files (SD cards) are shipped or billed.
Tip: Empty hilts are ideal if you already own electronics or want to build a custom saber from scratch. If you expected a complete plug-and-play saber, please choose one of our “Fully Loaded” or “Complete Kit” listings instead.

I am very very pleased with this as a BOGO added bonus. Very smooth. Quite effective. Intentionally basic. I would not purchase this all alone since it has an aesthetic basic look and feel, but IT DOES lead me to feelings regarding what young Anakin could have felt regarding his early saber creation. He would have learned a lot from it, and of course revamped those efforts into his next saber. This saber is really IMPRESSIVE (in context).
So I got this in the BOGO, and the saber I bought was the ANI 3. It's literally the coolest thing I've ever bought; I can't give enough praise.
Now let's talk about this one, for me the most important part of a saber is the looks, and I must say, it's disappointing that this is even for sale, any other saber would have been fine for me, it's bulky, has sharp corners, the way to straighten the blade is such an awful process and when you finally get it tightened it's so poorly made that a little wobble will make the saber go out, overall this saber is a letdown, even though it was free I will probably never use it, so to that length did I even get a lightsaber, I did get one, but one that I'll never use.

Like nearly other review here, I got this as a BoGo freebie. It’s… not great. Visually not something I’d really like to display, feels weird to hold to actually use. Only reason I give it 2 stars over 1 is the fact that without the blade, it kinda looks like a box cutter. Which gave me a chuckle.
Great saber and it’s growing on me more and more , the little lights on the side are gorgeous and totally sell it for me ! And the Ezra neopixel I got also was just out of this world a truly elegant weapon !
I recently ordered the Obi Wan EP 1 - Negotiator and this was my free saber along with it.
This saber is very durable and heavily weighted. It feels great in my hand, however it is very chunky. I appreciate that is the point of this saber but the simple and basic design doesn't feel me with a lot of emotion/nostalgia.
The sound is slightly too bassy, compared to that of the Prodigal Son affordable version which is incredible. I am unsure how the button system works. I was able to change colours, blade and could turn the blade on and off but am unsure on how to turn the actual hilt itself off, or how to change anything else. I had to wait for it to turn itself off. This will surely be something I can research into, or figure out with more time.
After reading other reviews on this saber, I can tell that it was probably the least sold on the website so they used this one as the BOGOF on more than a handful of occassions. However, I am not complaining as this was entirely FREE and will be an awesome addition to the collection.
I personally would not buy this saber for the price it is sold at originally, and it's design, but thank you for doing the BOGOF in the first place!
I bought the Satele (DUAL SABERS) in snv4 and was sent the cheapest version of this saber rgb 32" blade. One of the power settings won't turn the blade on unless you are beating on it and turns off as soon as you stop. I 100% agree with Seth Goins review. I'm glad it was free. I just can't recommend this saber to anyone even if you get the best version. It's bulky and bland looking. I wouldn't even buy the cheapest option like i was given for a kid. Find another one if you are looking for a cheap 1st timer saber. This is not it.
To preface I purchased the Ani III, which I love and received this as a BOGO. While this was my free saber in the BOGO sale I was still pretty disappointed and hoping for better. This saber is okay quality but is bulky and very difficult to handle/use. Would not recommend.
I received this saber during the first BOGO sale. The hilt itself is…interesting. The hilt is very large with extraordinary girth, and aesthetically pretty basic. The button system is a little weird, and the size and cut is not really practical to swing and spin around. Very disappointed I purchased a proffie saber as a part of this deal, and this particular saber came in as an RGB blade. They meant it when they said equal or LESSER value! But hey it was free right?… not saying it should’ve been a proffie board, but at least a pixel. Theory Sabers should definitely communicate that a little better. If anyone is looking at spending the money, Theory Sabers was much better options for about the same cost. Overall, it’s a unique piece, but everything about this saber is lacking. I’m definitely glad it was free, but won’t be going on the display stand.
I don't have a video, but I received this as a bogo. I am thoroughly impressed. I have nicknamed it The Chungus. That is all. Super fun saber!
This is my first Theory Saber product, and I actually got this saber during the first BOGO sale that Theory Sabers had. I was initially buying the Negotiator 1 for my friend, because that is her favorite saber hilt so I got this saber as the mystery saber. That being said I cannot be very upset because I got this saber for free, however I was not super impressed with the design of this saber. I understand that this saber was meant to be a riff on the Ani 2 saber, but it just felt too simple. It isnt very comfortable to wield with two hands, since the power block gets in the way, and the color of the metal buttons on the back of the saber do not look appealing to me. All of my critiques are purely visual based. The saber itself is constructed very well with a very nice weighty feel. It's solid as hell, I'm definitely not gonna break this thing if I accidentally drop it, it honestly would do more damage to the floor lol. The sound fonts are great and the speaker leaves nothing to be desired. All in all the saber is of great build quality, but poor visual design in my opinion. If you like the visuals of this saber I would say go ahead and buy it, you wont be disappointed. However at a price of $309.66 USD, I think Theory Sabers has MUCH better options for around that price point or even lower. For example the “General Cyborg” is the same price and is so much more intricate. Or even the “lord luke” saber @ $80 cheaper looks a lot better. I think this saber should be $100 cheaper, and then it would be a better deal. However again I did not “pay” for this saber as I got it as a part of the mystery BOGO.
