Lifetime Saber Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our products. All non-discontinued sabers include a lifetime warranty covering defects and malfunctions under normal use, including the core electronics and blade.
Covered Under Warranty
- Damage on Arrival (DOA) — must be reported upon receipt
- Verified soundboard failure (after troubleshooting)
- Manufacturing defects outside normal standards
Not Covered Under Warranty
- Dueling or impact damage (including stress on skinny-neck designs)
- Improper or forceful disassembly
- Incorrect or high-output chargers
- Unauthorized modifications (soundfonts, blade styles, flashing)
- Misuse, abuse, or improper operation
- Resale or secondary market purchases
- Retention screw damage from over-tightening
Important
Unauthorized repairs may void the warranty.
Submit a support ticket for assistance (48-hour response time)
Polarity: Align + and - symbols correctly to prevent damage.
Charging: Use a 5V 1A adapter only. Charge for 3-4 hours max; do not charge overnight.
Warranty: Damage from dueling is not covered.
Blade Use: Insert the blade before powering on. Avoid twisting to prevent damage.
Core Installation: Do not twist the core when inserting to avoid pin damage.
Hilt Handling: Do not unscrew the hilt from the middle section.
Customization: Modifications that alter files or damage the board void the warranty and are non-refundable
What “Empty – No Electronics” Means?
- Blade: Not included. You’ll need to source or make your own blade.
- Electronics: No wiring, LEDs, or soundboards—empty chassis only.
- Sound Fonts: Even if “Mark 1 - Free” appears in sound-font dropdowns, no sound-font files (SD cards) are shipped or billed.
Tip: Empty hilts are ideal if you already own electronics or want to build a custom saber from scratch. If you expected a complete plug-and-play saber, please choose one of our “Fully Loaded” or “Complete Kit” listings instead.

The shadow hunter is a very nice saber from how is made to how it feels in your hand is absolutely wonderful I ordered it in 2 versions the sd-rgb and the proffie and both are fanatsic i am very happy with both my sabers well done guys
Better than last order as it showed up in the predicted time frame and i really wanted to give more than 2 stars this time however there again was absolutely no communication after the only email saying my order was placed. How can you expect customers to pay a premium price when the service is lack luster. Products have been great and i love them and they gave the loyalty points i was missing but when you charge ridiculous prices to resell product you can at the least email the customer letting them know it has shipped and with it a tracking number. Even after i got the product if i check the order it still says "We're preparing these items for shipping." Now i know everybody who as ever said theory sabers has the best customer service is just saying that to get paid its sad

Ordered this rad saber for my stepson, he thinks Darth Maul is the best, and he's yet to receive it, biding our time. But I can't wait to see his eyes light up when he sees this.
Anyone considering making a purchase, please, please, familiarize yourself with what each feature does. I mistakenly clicked prequel sound fonts cause I mixed up board and fonts, and now kiddo isn't getting the scroll light up effect. I doubt he will notice, he's 7, and lots of time for upgrades!
Dumb personal story aside, this saber is absolutely sick.
Picked this up at MegaCon last February and this lightsaber is so freaking cool, especially with the proffie effects! The only downside is that I forgot to specify the blade length when getting it so the saber is super tall which makes it difficult to swing inside haha. Overall excellent build quality and the sound fonts are very cool as well.

Alright, I've gotta say, the sound on this saber is probably the most high quality of any of my sabers that I've bought before, but there are two primary reasons that I give this 3 stars. One, the blades are probably the most flimsy out of all of the baselit sabers I've bought, and the screws are smaller than any other for some reason, and the saber is overall just not as stable (not because it's double bladed). Two, the flash on clash is not very responsive, no matter if you hit hard or soft, or even if you use the app, that is not mentioned anywhere, to increase foc sensitivity. Actually, that brings up a couple more reasons. Every other saber I've had has had a detailed guide for setup and all the different capabilities of the saber. When I bought this one, nothing was clear, and I had no idea how to access the music that Theory Sabers is so proud of. I found basic guides for TXQ sabers in general online, but nothing that had all the attributes or ones that did but had incorrect button commands.

Overall the Shadow Hunter is beautiful and feels great to handle.
Cons:
1) The sound really does get "overly" muffled when both sabers are connected. It seems like more experimenting with size and shape of sound holes is necessary. Would like to see a final version sold separately for past and future customers.
2) The primary and secondary buttons on both my sabers cannot fully screw in without permanently pressing on the internal circuitry which means the buttons are always pressed down. I'm going to carefully Loctite the buttons partially in place so they stay secure in place and allow contact with the circuit board to function.
3) Love the detailing allowing light to bleed though the upper portion of the hilt. I would adjust the design to allow a little more light to bleed through.

Looks and feels like it’s right from the movie!!
I was fortunate enough to win this saber, as I received a silver ticket during the April 2025 promotional event. Even though I offered to pay for the proffie upgrade, the crew at Theory Sabers (looking at you, Nick) gave me the upgrade FOR FREE. While that certainly biases my opinion of the sabers themselves, I would buy them for full price in a heartbeat.
These are my first proffies and you can tell the sound and lighting difference between this and an SNV4 (which i would still absolutely recommend to not break the bank; my Prodigal Son is an SNV4). Even with just the 32" blades, the Shadow Hunter feels like you're welding Maul's iconic weapon. It is perfectly balanced and the utility of being able to turn it into two sabers means you're always ready to spark up a duel with friends.
I ordered an Obi Wan saber last year and had several issues with it. This Maul saber is 10x better in every way. The weight of this saber is perfect, the blades are thinner but still strong and balance the whole thing incredibly. The blade sockets very deep into the hilt so you don't have to worry about it wobbling and throwing off your spins, this was a big problem for my Obi Wan saber which barely sat even an inch into the hilt. The look of this saber, while obviously not exact, is phenomonal and it's very sturdy. I can spin this thing super fast without worry, both when the sabers are connected and especially when seperate and dual wielding. I was spinning it so fast at one point it flew out of my hand and fell on concrete. While it did slightly scuff some of my connecter piece it didn't do any damage to the saber itself. The blade did turn off when it hit the ground, but it was still powered on and it turned right back on no issues. Asthetic buttons do unscrew so tighten often.
