We stand by the quality of our products and aim for customer satisfaction. All non-discontinued saber products have lifetime warranty.
Lifetime warranty covers defects and malfunctions under normal use, including the core and blade.
Not Covered
Battle damage or heavy impact
Damage from forceful or improper disassembly
Damage caused by incorrect or high-output chargers
Issues from improper flashing or modification (soundfonts/blade styles)
Covered Under Warranty:
- Damage on Arrival: Report any issues upon receiving the product.
- Soundboard Failure: Check our troubleshooting guide before requesting support.
- Product Defects: Defects that fall outside industry standards will be reviewed.
Not Covered Under Warranty:
- Dueling Damage: Damage from combat use, including impacts or strikes during dueling, which may stress or snap skinny-neck designs.
- Blatant Abuse: Misuse or intentional damage.
- Improper Operation: Issues due to incorrect use.
- Resale Products: Items bought from secondary markets.
- Retention Screws: Ensure screws are properly installed and not over tightened. Damage to screw heads by overtightening will cause issues with removing your blade and is NOT covered under warranty.

Polarity: Align + and - symbols correctly to prevent damage.
Charging: Use a 5V 1A adapter only. Charge for 3-4 hours max; do not charge overnight.
Warranty: Damage from dueling is not covered.
Blade Use: Insert the blade before powering on. Avoid twisting to prevent damage.
Core Installation: Do not twist the core when inserting to avoid pin damage.
Hilt Handling: Do not unscrew the hilt from the middle section.
Customization: Modifications that alter files or damage the board void the warranty and are non-refundable
What “Empty – No Electronics” Means?
- Blade: Not included. You’ll need to source or make your own blade.
- Electronics: No wiring, LEDs, or soundboards—empty chassis only.
- Sound Fonts: Even if “Mark 1 - Free” appears in sound-font dropdowns, no sound-font files (SD cards) are shipped or billed.
Tip: Empty hilts are ideal if you already own electronics or want to build a custom saber from scratch. If you expected a complete plug-and-play saber, please choose one of our “Fully Loaded” or “Complete Kit” listings instead.

Overall perfect
Besides the fact that the instructions are almost useless which has been my gripe about all 3 sabers I've gotten so far, the blade I received was poorly put together and even had a small chip in it. I'm probably just going to display the hilt and not actually use it. Seems too easy to break. Was hoping for a higher quality product for the price. It is not detecting impacts or movement and acting accordingly. I like the feel of the hilt, but the poor quality blade just ruins it for me.

And I'm not kidding, it's got a good weight to it. Sound is crisp and have no problems with the paint chipping off yet. Tho my one worry with it is the two screws holding the blade. I have read in other reviews about it splitting the blade tang and I can see it happening quite easily. So I'm going to try some things out so it won't and see what happens ^^ All the best and May the force be with you, always.
Looks and sounds great, very happy with my purchase.
The saber looks beautiful, has good heft in hand even without the blade. A great collectible for Mandalorian fans.
Only issue(s) I have with this saber is that to set screws can damage the blade/light filaments and while tightened down the saber keeps switching on or off with a twitch of the wrist. And the blade does not hold up well for a playful duel.
But as a cosplay or collectors item it is fantastic.
The Dark Ruler is a Phenomenal Saber, the craftsmanship of the saber and blade is identical to the Mandalorian adaptation. The sound effects and music are out of this world, each sound font has there own unique ignitions with blaster bolt deflection to match. I managed to get Disruptor saber as my second saber from the recent BOGO sale, I love the design of both.
But with every product comes it's flaws; at times the blade would flicker on and off or turn on part of the way and sometimes the sound fonts would play over one another. Despite these flaws the Dark Ruler saber was the first saber I purchased from Theory Sabers. I will definitely buy more sabers from here in the coming future.
The hilt is very sturdy and solid. It also has good grip. The design on the blade is very well done. If you’re looking for the perfect darksaber, this is the way.
Definitely worth the price I bought it at. Hilt feels solid and has some weight to it. The RGB for blade looks fantastic. The sounds are also clear and have good volume.
I intially gave The Dark Saber a 5 star review upon revival. You can refer to my original review below “Fit for the Ruler of Mandalore.” I was amazed when the Saber first arrived it was beautiful and the sound font was most impressive. After a month I began noticing how easily the paint on the hilt chips away. When I say “easy,” I mean very very easy. Just placing it down on a table can cause a chip. I am a very meticulous owner and handle my saber with care and still the paint is so degraded by basic handling that you may as well call it the “weathered edition” already. The pixel blade was impressive at first until I noticed a distinct dullness at the tip end of the blade which only worsened over time. You have a beautiful blade that lights up nicely all the way to last inch and then it sadly fades, ruining the asthetic. I brought this up to customer service and 24 - 36 hrs later I finally received a response via email that they were unable to do an exchange or return because it had passed the 14 day return window. A week ago, I decided to order a replacement blade for $120. When I received the blade it was SIGNIFICANTLY duller than the old blade and the dullness at the tip of the blade was even more pronounced. I sent a message to customer service and still have not received a reply as it usually takes 24-36 hrs to receive a single reply via email. Let me just say I am big of SWT the man. I had great hopes when I bought this lightsaber. However I am deeply disappointed with the Dark Saber and even more disappointed in the quality of customer service. I’m a fan of the YouTube channel but I’ll be shopping with a new company for any future force wielding. 0 stars
