Not Covered Under Warranty:
- Dueling Damage: Damage from combat use, including impacts or strikes during dueling, which may stress or snap skinny-neck designs.
- Blatant Abuse: Misuse or intentional damage.
- Improper Operation: Issues due to incorrect use.
- Resale Products: Items bought from secondary markets.
- Retention Screws: Ensure screws are properly installed and not over tightened. Damage to screw heads by overtightening will cause issues with removing your blade and is NOT covered under warranty.

Polarity: Align + and - symbols correctly to prevent damage.
Charging: Use a 5V 1A adapter only. Charge for 3-4 hours max; do not charge overnight.
Warranty: Damage from dueling is not covered.
Blade Use: Insert the blade before powering on. Avoid twisting to prevent damage.
Core Installation: Do not twist the core when inserting to avoid pin damage.
Hilt Handling: Do not unscrew the hilt from the middle section.
Customization: Modifications that alter files or damage the board void the warranty and are non-refundable
What “Empty – No Electronics” Means?
- Blade: Not included. You’ll need to source or make your own blade.
- Electronics: No wiring, LEDs, or soundboards—empty chassis only.
- Sound Fonts: Even if “Mark 1 - Free” appears in sound-font dropdowns, no sound-font files (SD cards) are shipped or billed.
Tip: Empty hilts are ideal if you already own electronics or want to build a custom saber from scratch. If you expected a complete plug-and-play saber, please choose one of our “Fully Loaded” or “Complete Kit” listings instead.

This Saber is really good and the quality of the shape and the sound files are really accurate to the movies and cool. The ONLY ISSUE is that the red switches come off really easily and I already lost one. I would suggest Theory Sabers sell additional replacement switches on their website OR PROVIDE 2 EXTRA SWITCHES with this Saber whenever its purchased.
Like the other reviews say, the buttons come off really easy. They're just screwed on and come loose with the gentlest of swings. Cannot recommend that anyone buys it for its high price in its current state, this is really disappointing

The Saber is literally better than i thought it gonna be. The look, size, feeling in hand and weight - it is amazing. The only one problem i have with this saber are the buttons - they were kinda loose and they fell out of the hilt very easily. I screwed them back with my hands and for now it is enough - but for people who travel a lot or gonna duel with this one that can be a problem so keep that in mind! Other than that - i am extremely happy with it! This was my first saber and i am not disappointed!

It looks exactly like the one from the game back from back in the day. My ONLY gripe is that the two red buttons tend to fall off which is a tad upsetting but I can screw it back in.
Red button fell out. But easy to put back. Hopefully stays there. Zero shipping/tracking notifications.
The blade and ignition options are almost all obnoxious and if you have the wrong setting, some of the fonts get screwed up. One font that doesn’t work as expected is Boba (Games Package), the sizemic charge doesn’t ignite as seen on YT. But when you get a handle on it, it works beyond my dreams, just wish it didn’t take such a learning curve. On the quality, so far, really good except for one of the buttons fell off when I took it out of box. Shipping was fast? I got no tracking number until the day it arrived. Anyway, after the initial annoyances, it’s perfect. I plan on buying again.
Great saber. Looks great, feels great, sounds great. The blade sits deep in the emitter. Making it great for dueling if your into that. All around great!
I bought Katarn during the second BOGO deal before Black Friday. While I'm impressed with Katarn with a proffie blade, with the exception of the buttons not staying screwed in, I find the handle to be really thick and bulky (probably just the design of the handle so no points off there). What I'm mainly concerned about was when I heard about the BOGO from Theory saying, "Mystery saber of equal or lesser value," I learned on getting my order there is extra emphasis on the lesser value. I bought a $500 lightsaber and expected something equal or lesser. I got another saber that was about $170, the Victory Black. It was a standard RGB saber too, didn't even get a proffie version which would come up to about half of what Katarn cost, right in line with equal or lesser value. That wasn't mentioned in the deal and I feel that should made clearer. I'll probably keep on the lookout, but if that doesn't get cleared up, I'm probably not buying again, which sucks because I like what you guys are doing otherwise.
Ever since I got the demo of Dark Forces II on Windows 95, I’ve been a fan of the Jedi Knight saga. After waiting nearly three weeks, I finally received the lightsaber from my teenage years. I have to say, I’m extremely disappointed.
I had no issues with the other unique-type lightsaber. But with this one, the buttons keep falling off, and I’ve already peeled off the metal and black paint from the handle while trying to unscrew it to access the battery. It just spins in place, and I can’t unscrew it properly. This is really disappointing.
