Since this would be my first saber, I watched a lot of reviews and decided on the Shin Baddie saber. My main reason for this choice is the hand guard reminds me of the old fashion swords of the past, and when learning to spin the saber there is nothing that gets in the way of the hand, its simple but elegant. Another selling point for me was how fast the customer service was in any questions that I had. The craftmanship and design are top notch. I ordered the SNV4 version with the streaming package, which I'm still learning about.
This uses a 7/8" blade which already differentiates it from White Wolf. The hilt is quite textured, allowing for a better grip. However, it's better suited for single-handed use; another beautiful contrast to the White Wolf, which must be used as a longsword. It makes me think of Arya and The Hound from GOT. The sleek and nimble Shin Baddie and the strong and powerful White Wolf. I love the three-pronged emitter, it's reminiscent of Revan.
My one critique is the button sensitivity. There's a lightly tangible click that signifies that you've successfully pressed the button. Otherwise, the physical button pieces will depress, but it won't always activate the control. Perhaps if I reinstall the buttons myself, the problem will go away.

Bought this saber for its unique styling. Looks amazing and is very robust and solid to hold. Even at the Base level which mine is the blade and sound effects are really good. Gives an extra dimension to its immersive qualities. If you've got the extra cash I would recommend upgrading the specs. All in all I'm very very pleased.
Love the saber hilt and want to add that the grip is completely aluminum incase anyone was wondering, really well detailed and good for my smaller hands since the saber hilt is thinner than most.
