Lifetime Saber Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our products. All non-discontinued sabers include a lifetime warranty covering defects and malfunctions under normal use, including the core electronics and blade.
Covered Under Warranty
- Damage on Arrival (DOA) — must be reported upon receipt
- Verified soundboard failure (after troubleshooting)
- Manufacturing defects outside normal standards
Not Covered Under Warranty
- Dueling or impact damage (including stress on skinny-neck designs)
- Improper or forceful disassembly
- Incorrect or high-output chargers
- Unauthorized modifications (soundfonts, blade styles, flashing)
- Misuse, abuse, or improper operation
- Resale or secondary market purchases
- Retention screw damage from over-tightening
Important
Unauthorized repairs may void the warranty.
Submit a support ticket for assistance (48-hour response time)
Polarity: Align + and - symbols correctly to prevent damage.
Charging: Use a 5V 1A adapter only. Charge for 3-4 hours max; do not charge overnight.
Warranty: Damage from dueling is not covered.
Blade Use: Insert the blade before powering on. Avoid twisting to prevent damage.
Core Installation: Do not twist the core when inserting to avoid pin damage.
Hilt Handling: Do not unscrew the hilt from the middle section.
Customization: Modifications that alter files or damage the board void the warranty and are non-refundable
What “Empty – No Electronics” Means?
- Blade: Not included. You’ll need to source or make your own blade.
- Electronics: No wiring, LEDs, or soundboards—empty chassis only.
- Sound Fonts: Even if “Mark 1 - Free” appears in sound-font dropdowns, no sound-font files (SD cards) are shipped or billed.
Tip: Empty hilts are ideal if you already own electronics or want to build a custom saber from scratch. If you expected a complete plug-and-play saber, please choose one of our “Fully Loaded” or “Complete Kit” listings instead.

I've been wanting to get a darksaber for awhile now and with my budget at megacon this was the perfect choice. The saber works as well as every other SNV4 pixel however the only thing about the Flat blade is that when it comes into contact with another saber blade, it isn't very reactive with the clash. Normally this would be a valid criticism but with this specific saber you can swap the blade with a round one, making this an all around dueling, display, and cosplay saber worthy of anyone looking to collect and obtain the dark saber. Excellent product and I cannot wait to get another saber from this company.
This hilt and available blade set offerings are terrific! I ordered the saber with the flat blade and got the 32” round blade too. Great feel to the saber in the hand. The flat blade lights up super and is heafty. Fills the “Dark Saber” need I had…. Very happy with this saber from Theory Sabers for sure!
Got this for a dear friend of mine who absolutely loves Mandalorian culture. Was a surprise (and very early) birthday gift this last weekend! (She loves it so much!)
A simple design, yet still envokes care and thought in high quality, got a decent weight to it and the sounds are soooo crisp! 💙💙 It was well worth the price and font package just to see her reaction (and her husband’s; see Survivor (clean) review for his)!! If you too love Mando culture or just want to challenge your friends to a duel for the throne of all Mandalore, consider this for your next purchase!
Very cool saber with all the colors and sounds available. I built a Disney saber few years ago and this one is much better in all aspects.

GET A FLAT BLADE. If this is your first saber, get flat blade. If it's not, get a flat blade, and you can still put your pixel blades (1 inch OD) in here. The flat blade will enhance your experience, adding more weight and momentum to the swing to where the hilt is almost forcing itself out of your grip. You have to feel it to understand.
Speaking of understanding, this saber is meant for TRUE Star Wars fans who understand its significance and can appreciate how accurate this blade is in terms of its use. Just as Mando and Sabine struggle with it at first, you will too. I did. If you have the genuine replica, get the Dark Ruler. If not, this is almost identical copy.
Aside from the flat vlade, the hilt's compatibility with flat AND round blades, the feeling of being THE Mandalore, and the music urging me to lead a charge against the Empire, this saber and my experience with it and the Theory Sabers team is as unique as it gets.
Customer Service (Cody) helped get me this as an exchange for an exact copy of a saber I already own from a Master Mystery Box. Yes, I paid for it to be shipped back, and financially, I didn't gain anything... but the care, patience, and attention that Cody gave me and this matter PLUS getting a new experience, blade, and hilt... it was more than worth it. I literally sent back the duplicate saber and get the hilt and blade exchanged and got the same box back.
Theory Sabers sells the best quality sabers, has an exceptional customer service team, and represents the undying flame of the George Lucas fandom. I will never buy sabera from anywhere else. If there's a saber out there, it will be here eventually also. I'd rather but from a reputable company and person like Theory than get whatever short-term satisfaction from buying a saber that this company hasn't made YET. Be nice to them and they'll be nice tenfold back to you.

I got this in a Master Mystery Box. I gifted it to a friend. The experience of unboxing it myself was thrilling. I knew that once I opened the blackened blade, I had this saber. My friend, who LOVES the Mandalorian was overjoyed when I gifted this. Thank you Theory and Team for these literal masterpieces.
I bought this saber for my niece’s graduation gift. She had wanted a sword but when she saw this Dark Saber and what it can do, she said it was better than a real sword! This was one of my first purchase from Theory Sabers and they do not disappoint also the se model is great because you can get the flat blade or a round blade. This company does it all. Reasonable pricing, durable product, looks and feels amazing, hardware is top notch, and the time it took to get the saber was not long! Best of all tho really is their customer service. When I had received my dark saber the bottom of the handle was loose which made the ring shake when you would swing the saber. Josh M helped me out! Not only did he reach out quickly to help he even sent me a video from their manufacturing department that showed my issue was as simple as unscrewing the bottom and tightening the screw. I had other questions and each time Josh M gave great instructions with a quick response time! The Sabers and customer service are really the best! I will continue to buy from Theory sabers and highly recommend this Saber!
