Covered Under Warranty:
- Damage on Arrival: Report any issues upon receiving the product.
- Soundboard Failure: Check our troubleshooting guide before requesting support.
- Product Defects: Defects that fall outside industry standards will be reviewed.
Not Covered Under Warranty:
- Dueling Damage: Damage from combat use, including impacts or strikes during dueling, which may stress or snap skinny-neck designs.
- Blatant Abuse: Misuse or intentional damage.
- Improper Operation: Issues due to incorrect use.
- Resale Products: Items bought from secondary markets.
- Retention Screws: Ensure screws are properly installed and not over tightened. Damage to screw heads by overtightening will cause issues with removing your blade and is NOT covered under warranty.

Unauthorized repairs may void the warranty. Contact Customer Support for assistance.
For support, submit a ticket, and our team will respond within 48 hours.
Polarity: Align + and - symbols correctly to prevent damage.
Charging: Use a 5V 1A adapter only. Charge for 3-4 hours max; do not charge overnight.
Warranty: Damage from dueling is not covered.
Blade Use: Insert the blade before powering on. Avoid twisting to prevent damage.
Core Installation: Do not twist the core when inserting to avoid pin damage.
Hilt Handling: Do not unscrew the hilt from the middle section.
Customization: Modifications that alter files or damage the board void the warranty and are non-refundable
What “Empty – No Electronics” Means?
- Blade: Not included. You’ll need to source or make your own blade.
- Electronics: No wiring, LEDs, or soundboards—empty chassis only.
- Sound Fonts: Even if “Mark 1 - Free” appears in sound-font dropdowns, no sound-font files (SD cards) are shipped or billed.
Tip: Empty hilts are ideal if you already own electronics or want to build a custom saber from scratch. If you expected a complete plug-and-play saber, please choose one of our “Fully Loaded” or “Complete Kit” listings instead.

Core went bad after about 5 months...no actual use/abuse.
Customer support accused me of over charging, wanted pics of the charger I used, send videos, pretty much everything to get out of doing a repair.
FINALLY got approval, found out I have to export it, pay all tarrifs, then import it AND PAY TARRIFS. I'm supposed to ship it to some random guy's house in Reno, I looked it up, it's some condo unit. This is a THOUSAND dollar saber. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told "you should read the fine print on the website", with a copy of said fine print. So just know, that while the owners seems like a good guy, whoever does customer support is real sketchy. Now I have a thousand dollar paperweight, they won't even tell me where to buy replacement cores that will work. To think I ordered THREE sabers off of this company.
Our records show that our technical support agent worked extensively with you to troubleshoot and resolve the issue you are claiming. Throughout this process, we clearly outlined our policies and repair procedures, which are standard for any saber issue that cannot be resolved through basic troubleshooting or tutorials.
As explained, when an issue requires hands-on diagnostics, the saber must be sent to our certified repair center. This is the same process we have successfully used to help hundreds of customers through our repair service. After providing you with these instructions, we did not receive any further response from you to proceed with the repair.
Reviewing the full email thread, our team has been transparent, professional, and cooperative at every step. This review does not accurately reflect the level of assistance provided, nor does it acknowledge the multiple attempts made by our support staff to move the repair forward. Cooperation from the customer is required to complete any repair process, and that did not occur here.
We remain willing to resolve this matter and encourage you to reach back out to our team so the issue can be handled respectfully and professionally in accordance with our published policies.

This thing is heavy. It is precise. It has such a good feel, both holding it and using it.

Ordered this back in July last year. Was damaged in shipping ( no fault of Theory Sabers). Took a couple of weeks to get repaired. The chassis was damaged. Great Saber. Used it in a lightsaber demo at martial arts studio. Its heavy. I have the originals sound package.
Theory and the team have been so professional and available for any questions I had during and after my order process/post delivery. They always get back to you within at most a day or two and are very knowledgeable about both the products and the shipping timelines. They were pretty much right on point with everything you would hope a customer service department would be.

As far as the product goes, it’s so amazing. Full metal build, very high-end feeling, it’s HEAVY so it feels “real”, the internals are immaculate—gold crystal chamber and fully removable chassis system, the blade is bright and effects are awesome. The custom sounds that they install in these sabers is truly top tier. Shoutout to Samuel Kim. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this company or this team. They are key to holding this fandom together I think.
11/10 everything. Highly recommend this team and product to anyone curious about the quality of both the product and support.

I absolutely love this saber. The build quality, sound quality, and sheer weight of the hilt transports you to a place from a long time ago and far, far away. Thank you, Theory.
This was my first lightsaber. I went with Theory because I was told that they are the best! My son and I both bought one at the same time.
Neither of our sabers are currently working as expected. For mine, it took months to arrive. Infact, my son ordered a week later and his arrived a week before mine.
When I got it, I was amazed at how heavy it was. I was impressed by the quality, but realized shortly afterwards that weight is a problem for both cosplay and dueling.
This is a two button saber. On the first day, something happened to the bottom button. I am unable to press it half the time. Which makes it impossible to turn off, because to do that you have to rapidly press that button 3 times.
I tried to work with support for this, but theory only offers email support. The back and forth between myself and the technician avaeraged 48-72 hours per response on their side. After sending multiple messages and videos, it was decided to send me a replacement button and no instructions on how to replace it. This was extremely disappointing. I was hoping to swap the hilt and try again. Especially considering how much I spent on this thing.
In the end, I have a broken light saber and a replacement button in a box. I bought two new sabers from Sabneo for a fraction of the cost and they are light and have a lifetime warranty.
Its too bad my theory saber just sits on a shelf never to be used again. When it did work for the first day, it had really bright colors and excellent sound.
